ADAM Curriculum

ADAM is tailored to talented and mission-driven high school graduates with an affinity for digital literacy, as well as a clear interest in being exposed to other languages and cultures. Key curricular components include:

1. Core Curriculum
Designed to foster independent and creative thinking, pre-college courses will expose students to a range of academic themes, including, but not limited to, intercultural competency, critical thinking, and philosophy. Throughout the year, students will enhance their readiness for the university experience through independent work, group projects, and mentorship from dedicated faculty members at the University of Notre Dame.

2. Hebrew Language
Geared towards preparing students for the YAEL exam - an entry requirement at local universities - students will be immersed in Hebrew language instruction throughout the year. The Hebrew language curriculum will emphasize academic Hebrew and integrate elements of cultural fluency and communication skills that meet the demands of university-level language proficiency.

3. Digital Literacy
Students will be immersed in a hands-on technology platform, where they will acquire the skills necessary to launch a career as a developer and become lifelong learners. From programming fundamentals to learning Go language, participants will gain the skills needed to solve problems with code while applying industry best practices in a collaborative environment.

In addition to the key curricular components, the program includes an overarching Counseling and Advising component. This component is designed to provide personalized guidance and support students throughout their academic journey, from self-exploration to future pathways. Through regular one-on-one sessions, students will identify their strengths, interests, and academic goals, and reflect on their learning experiences and exposure to different fields. Students will work closely with advisors to develop a tailored and realistic academic roadmap, including selecting majors, identifying future pathways, understanding requirements, and planning key milestones. 

ADAM students could be eligible to receive two transferable college credits upon completion of the program.
