What is ADAM?*

ADAM is a competitive pre-college gap year program offered by the University of Notre Dame through its academic center in Jerusalem. The program's vision is to nurture a generation of confident, capable, and community-minded adults who wish to succeed in higher education and beyond. By creating an inclusive and supportive environment, ADAM will provide high school graduates with an opportunity to strengthen their academic skills, gain fluency in foreign languages, deepen their digital literacy, and pursue personal growth.

By year’s end, graduates will be:

  • Equipped with soft skills to navigate their academic and professional future confidently

  • Academically prepared to succeed at the top colleges and universities

  • Proficient in digital literacy and computer coding, following the 01 Edu curriculum, and equipped with an edge to excel in academic and professional opportunities.

  • Enriched by their exposure to The University of Notre Dame’s diverse network of academics, practitioners, and mentors

  • Professionally fluent in Hebrew at the level required by local universities; strengthened proficiency in English through practice (program is taught in English).

*ADAM is open to high school graduates of the greater Jerusalem area only
